I made it...WAHOO!
One week in the books. It's funny, the shakes are gone, the cravings are subsiding, and the meal planning is getting easier. I am gonna be able to do this!
Nothing exciting to report from the three days where I neglected to post. Let's go with some shockers...
1) I ordered and ate a veggie burger from the Gerks. A veggie burger
2) Edamame is my new favorite dish!
3) The Steelers crushed the Chargers
4) Did I mention the Steelers crushed the Chargers
Week 2 began with a Falafel Pita Sammich and Veggie Lasagna (soy protein meat product). Yummy
I am open to any and all food suggestions, so please feel free to share.

I have a suggestion. Why don't you try a BIG BAG of D's! Jerk.
ReplyDeleteThat said, Tofu is a good source for you to try. You can buy it and mix it in with any stir fry. The great part is you probably won't even know you are eating it as it will break up into smaller parts. You'll think you're eating soft popcorn, because you're just a plain bag of rocks.
If you are willing to try it on its own, fry that tofu up and have some soy sauce on it. Chop a scallion and you're set.
For desert, you can find Trone, crack his head open and get some candy.
Some suggestions --- when you or Chris post - why not start with Chris Day whatever, Elvis day whatever...I can usually figure out who is posting halfway through the post, but I mean, Chris talks enough and posts enough that I just sort of start to glaze over...
